- Avoid use of open flame candles. If you must use them, keep them at least 12 inches away from anything flammable.
- Be sure to keep walkways clear of decorations and electric extension cords that may be used for outdoor lighting displays.
- Provide enough lighting for guest visibility when coming and going. It gets dark earlier and appropriate lighting will be appreciated.
- Have the resources to keep cold foods cold and hot foods hot. Donâ't leave food out in room temperature too long.
- Check holiday light cords to make sure they are not frayed and do not have any bare wires exposed.
