Check out these local events in September that are fun for people of all ages.
On September 26
th and 27
th, head out to Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland to enjoy the Bay Area Vibez Festival. You have the opportunity to go just one of the days or get a two-day pass to enjoy all of the fun. Some of the biggest names in music will be at the festival, including Bassnectar, Damian “Jr. Gong†Marley, NAS, Stephen “Ragga†Marley, Morgan Heritage, and many more.
The Dinner Detective Interactive Murder Mystery Show is taking place on September 26
th from 6:15 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Waterfront Hotel in Oakland. Guests are invited to a four-course sit-down dinner with an interactive and improvised comedic murder mystery set that goes on between the courses. None of the performers will be dressed in costume, so all attendees will not know who is part of the show and who is not.
You will not want to miss out on Oaktoberfest on October 3
rd from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. in Oakland. Oaktoberfest celebrates the flavors, history, and people of the Bay Area, right in the Dimond District. The event will feature live entertainment, craft beer and food, ecology, and arts. Some of the highlights of this yearâ's festival will include a traditional Biergarten, Kidâ's area with Root Biergarten, Eco Fair, German style homebrew competition, and various vendors from the local area.
