As September comes to an end, it is the best time to start looking for fun, family-friendly October events in the local area. Don’t miss out on any of these events to ensure that you do not miss out on any of the fun!
The monthly East Bay Bike Party is happening on October 9th starting at 7:30 p.m. The mobile party is perfect for people of all ages, bike types, and experience levels. Jump on your bike to meet new riders in the area. The party will start at an East Bay BART station, and don’t forget to bring your helmet!
If you have ever been interested in Acro Yoga, then you will not want to miss out on the Free Acro Yoga Class on October 14th at Sports Basement Berkeley. You have the chance to learn balance, skills, and the art of acrobatic partner yoga from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
On Friday, October 16th, don’t miss Free Admission Friday at Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek! Lindsay Wildlife Experience allows you to get up close and personal with many of the animals who live there. Lindsay Wildlife Experience helps to save animals and inspire and teach children and adults about wild animals while strengthening the connection between people and the natural world.
The last Eats, Beats & Brews Block Party of the year is taking place on Sunday, October 18th in Downtown Berkeley. The day is full of live salsa music, tasty food, Drake’s Brewing outdoor beer garden, Games of Berkeley game pavilion, and much more, all happening from noon until 6 p.m.
