- Laurel Street Fair: On August 8th, head to MacArthur Boulevard between 35th and 38th Avenues to join in on the 16th Annual Laurel Street Fair. Thousands of people will attend to partake in the music, shop the local vendors, and join with their community.
- The Town’s Half Marathon & Better Health East Bay 5k: On Saturday, August 15th, join with your community for an exciting and fun half marathon or 5k. Starting from 1 Frank H Ogawa Plaza, these runs end back at the Plaza so everyone can join in the Whole Foods Market Finish Line Festival. There, you will find live music, food and drinks, and more.
- Oakland Chinatown StreetFest 2015: Held on August 22nd and 23rd, the 18th Annual Chinatown StreetFest will bring people from all over the Bay Area together in Oakland’s beautifully preserved Chinatown. Free to the public, this festival will feature more than 200 booths, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and delicious food.
