The Patchwork Show will be in Oakland on November 4^th.  The event will be held from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm in Jack London Square on the corner of Broadway and Walter Street.  Learn more about this fun event and attend with all your friends and family. The Patchwork Show is a bi-annual festival that showcases local and emerging artists, crafters, and designers.  The festival will also feature artisan food, craft workshops, and live indie music.  All Patchwork events are free to attend and provide activities that will entertain guests of all ages.  All vendors at the festival are carefully selected by a panel of judges and will feature a variety of goods.  Some of the crafts that will be available for purchase include clothing, handbags, accessories, jewelry, art, ceramics, gardening goods, home goods, stuffed animals, knit items, cosmetics, and so much more. The Patchwork Show was founded in Santa Ana by two women named Delilah Snell and Nicole Stevenson.  Both women were looking for a way to offer crafters and artisans a venue to show off their goods to potential customers.  They saw the festival as a way to support local small artists and businesses while also fostering the creative community in their city.  The first show took place in 2008 in the parking lot in front of Snellâ's storefront. This first show featured just twenty-five vendors.  Now, both women are producing six shows a year with nearly 200 vendors presenting at each event.
